There is stoneware and then there is stoneware. Our Stoneshard™ dinner service is real stoneware because extremely skilled artisans cut, sand, and polish it from real river stones. The bowls retain the textured stone on the sides with smooth insides and bottoms. You can wash Stoneshard™ in the dishwasher but we recommend you hand wash to retain the hand polished surface. Perfect for small plants, a sweet indulgence, a picnic or a formal dinner party.
